Multi-Agent System for Environmental Simulation


The main objective of this project includes the study and definition of the conceptual model to characterize the behavior of many agents that interact in the dynamics of land use (Land Use/Cover Change-LUCC).

As a result of this project we present the definition and implementation of a computational tool for analyzing environmental scenarios of LUCC. The MASE was developed to enable agent-based simulation scenarios where the influence of socio-economic and political dynamics through the interaction of agents with rules of land use and planning policies are integrated to environmental variables, including physical and spatial.
